Now what?

According to "Blogger," creating a blog was supposed to be easy. Of course I should have known better. The process might be simple for normal people, but for the technologically challenged among us, it is quite intimidating. I haven't even been able to set up voice mail for my cell phone! Therefore, if this blog looks as though the author doesn't really know what she's doing, please forgive her. She doesn't know yet, but she may learn.

Two thoughts came to mind as a result of this experience. First, sometimes we may start something which looks simple or attractive, only to discover that it is much more complicated or challenging than it appeared initially. Marriage, child-rearing, a career, an advanced degree, an exercise program . . . the Christian walk? Eventually, everything seems to take work.

Second, and more importantly: we don't necessarily know what we are doing or where we are going, but God does. As long as we are going where He wants us to go and doing what He wants us to do, we can let Him worry about the results. He's in control anyway, whether or not we acknowledge this!

Are you sure God didn't want you to start a blog on Wordpress?

Dug, are you one of those guys that orders for your girlfriend at restuarants?

I have not done that yet, but I would do that for sure. Not a regular thing for me. But I ALWAYS open doors for her. B4T

You should always open doors for with whomever you are walking, boy or girl, IMHO

So Russell, is Wordpress easier than Blogger? And why are you called the Blogfather?

Mon cher DEP, you would be willing to order for your girlfriend at a restaurant . . . so that she need never cudgel her brain over another menu dilemma?

Right on, Sammy! That kind gesture can really brighten someone's day.

Rachel, I think that the answer would be yes. That is if I understand the question correctly. B4T

Dug- Why do you keep answering questions for people? :) ... Rachel, yes Wordpress is easier than blogger. It also offers a great many more features.

Excuse me Ruscle, but the question that I answered was the one that was asked of me (the one about ordering for her)! So my question to you is why you got to get all up in my Cherios about something that's really none of you business anyways? Why can't you just keep you nose out of my business and concentrate on yours? Why do you have to go to somebody elses blog and bother me? Why is there air? I don't know and he's on third! B4T

Why did someone delete comments from my blog?

Sweetheart that would have been me! You see, I made grave spelling errors and I did not want thee to findeth them and mock me. I am ever so sorry if I have offended thee, but I felt it prudent to do such an act. B4T

Knowest thou not that I had already seen thy errors, yet I did not mock thee? My love for thee dependeth not on thy grammar, spelling, or punctuation.

No you didn't! At least not the first one I deleted, it wasn't there long enough for you to even see it! The second one, you might have seen but why didn't you question the first deletion at that time? Why did you wait until 4:16 to say something about a deletion that happend at 10:42? Your time line for this doesn't appear to support your claim that you had noticed the mistakes earlier and chose not to point them out. Also, I will never question thy love and dedication because of mispelled words. B4T

Accept my most sincere apologies, I pray thee, oh wise and powerful Pudgeman. I must have been thinking of some other comments I saw somewhere else! I abase myself before thee and bow to thy superior logic (figuratively speaking).
